Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That means working to make the site perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. We treat this as ongoing work, not a finished checklist.

What we’ve done

The site was reviewed with automated tools and by hand. We checked page structure and headings, color contrast, image descriptions, and keyboard navigation, and we fixed the problems we found. [Only keep this sentence once the alt text, headings, and PDFs are actually fixed.]

Known limitations

  • Some older documents on the site, such as PDFs of published articles, may not be fully accessible to screen readers. If you need one in another format, contact us and we’ll provide it.

  • Third-party tools on the site, such as embedded forms or scheduling tools, are maintained by other companies and may not fully meet WCAG 2.1. We can’t control them directly.

How the site was evaluated

A self-evaluation with the WAVE tool from WebAIM, plus a manual review of structure, headings, color contrast, and image descriptions, done with Organiq Media, the agency that built and maintains the site.

Technology

The site is built on Squarespace and uses HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
